From first photos to final walkthrough
If this is your first renovation, here is what to expect. You'll know what happens at each stage, who to call and when you pay.

How a project runs
Step 1: You send photos and a description
Upload 1 to 10 photos of the space and tell us what you'd like done, your rough budget and timing. It takes about five minutes.
Step 2: We review and reply
Within [[TBD: reply time]], your point of contact replies with questions or a time to come and see the house.
Step 3: Site visit and measurements
For most jobs we visit to measure, check the structure and talk through options with you.
Step 4: Your written, itemized quote
You get a quote that lists each part of the work, its cost and an estimated schedule. Nothing starts until you approve it.
Step 5: Permits, scheduling and the build
We arrange permits and inspections, line up the trades and run the job. Your point of contact keeps you updated and picks up when you call.
Step 6: Final walkthrough
We walk through the finished work with you, note anything that needs attention, and fix every item before we call it done.
Details worth knowing
Plans and drawings
You don't need drawings to request a quote. Photos and a description are enough to start; if the job needs plans, we'll say so and explain how they get made.
Permits
We handle permit applications and inspections for the work we do, and include those costs in your quote.
Changes during the job
If you want to change something mid-project, we price the change in writing first. You approve it before it goes ahead.
Payment schedule
[[TBD: payment terms, e.g. deposit on signing, then staged payments tied to milestones]]
Warranty
[[TBD: warranty on workmanship, e.g. length and what it covers]]
Start with a few photos
That's the first step. We'll take it from there.
